Why Choose the Birdfy App
I have the birdy feeder and birdfy cam and they are both connected to the app. It is very easy to use and great to be able to check on both devices at the same time. There is a collections feature where you can save recorded videos and images and it groups and saves them by the type of bird. I especially enjoy the community feature where you can share your captured videos/images and view others birds from all over the world. Great app for any bird lover!
I did a lot of research before I bought this camera and this seemed to be the best one out there. My experience with the app and with the support when I had a slight problem makes me feel that I made the right call in buying it. To the devs: Two small improvement ideas – on the filter screen, let me filter by bird species (not just bird). Also, show the camera battery level on the main screen. Other than that – keep up the great work!
The app was simple to connect to our Birdfy cameras and get set up. We appreciate the thumbnails so we can see which bird was detected and determine whether to look at the clip – we get a lot of activity! The app works well for us and thankfully only alerts us when there’s movement at the feeder, not in the background. The app has been reliable and very easy to use.
I like the new Birdfy App especially for capturing live HD videos that are saved to my phone forever with no need for a cloud subscription. Works with feeders and really nice with 2 camera nest box. can hardly wait to get some nesting birds. I wish one could save to an SD card with the nest but easy enough to review clips and save to phone. Only took a few minutes to add Nest to APP and see cameras. One hot tip – when you open your nest there is a drop down line to swipe for settings and sharing
All of your Birdfy devices in one app, which is very nice. Easy to use and learn user interface, able to pull up clips and live feeds from your cameras easily, and viewing the Birdfy recap is a nice touch. I own 4 Birdfy devices, and this app does a great job at letting you utilize all their features.
The app installation was perfect. The app works well. The sumary of motion moments you can scroll to the right and see all the events. This lets you pick the events you want to watch. One thing I really like about this app is the addition of views of other people’s feeders, some in Europe. It is great to see birds from other countries!
I got Birdfy in June ’24. The app is great about showing me all the birds on the property up close. Over the first couple of months, it developed enough AI to ignore me and our vehicles if we go into the field it is in.
The app has been easy to use and I can view my bird friends from anywhere. You can download all pictures and videos and even see footage of animals shared from others. It’s been a pleasure seeing everyone’s animal friends. It even identifies the Birds/Animals
The app setup was quick and easy I had my new bird feeder up and running in a couple minutes. Video clips stream smoothly and movement notifications are working as expected. Overall, the app is working as expected.
Easy App for all my Birdfy devices. I can adjust what notifications I receive. Downloading videos and images are easy. Setup to my feeders and nest was simple and also does software upgrades to my devices.
